Rehearsals will take place weekly on Thursdays at 19:30 during school term from St Peter’s Church in Old Woking.

How often does the choir rehearse, and what is the time commitment?
Our choir rehearses weekly on Thursdays, following a 12-week term structure aligned with the school term system. Rehearsals commence promptly at 19:30, and finish by 21:00.
What type of music does the choir typically perform?
We sing a wide range of genres expertly arranged by our talented choir leader, Beth Tippin, ensuring a rich and varied repertoire that resonates with every member's musical tastes.
Do I need to have previous choir or singing experience?
You don’t need previous choir experience; all you need is a hunger to learn and have fun as we welcome people of all singing backgrounds to join our harmonious community.
Do I need to be able to read music to join the choir?
All are welcome to join our choir regardless of musical notation abilities! 😂 We employ various methods to teach music to singers who rely on listening skills and vocal imitation rather than reading sheet music.
Is there a cost associated with joining the choir?
For newcomers, the first rehearsal is free providing an opportunity for you to experience the joy of singing. After that, our membership fee is £126 per 12-week term, covering the costs of running rehearsals.
Can I try out a rehearsal before committing to joining the choir?
Yes!! 🤩 We offer everyone new a complimentary first rehearsal, letting you see why this fantastic community is so good before asking you to make any financial commitments.
